The Challenge

There was no budget for new product or lifestyle shoots, and the project had a tight turnaround. The content needed to feel natural and location-based, integrate pets convincingly, and maintain a premium tone, all without access to physical samples.

Approach

I proposed a hybrid workflow combining 3D product renders with curated lifestyle backplates. This gave full control over lighting, angles and consistency, while achieving the realism of an on-location shoot. Pet integration was handled through carefully selected stock footage and thoughtful compositing to ensure interactions felt believable.

The Result

  • Produced high-quality 3D product renders matched to natural lighting and real environments

  • Composited 3D assets into lifestyle footage using shadow catching, tracking and colour matching

  • Integrated stock pet footage through grain, motion and lighting alignment

  • Edited scenes to create a warm, pet-friendly narrative while highlighting key product benefits

  • Delivered final assets optimised for social and ecommerce use
