Aura Earphones

House of Marley needed premium product and lifestyle imagery for a new headphone launch, but the product was still in development and no physical samples were available. I built a hybrid AI‑and‑3D pipeline that recreated the product accurately from CAD and placed it into a consistent, brand‑led photoshoot, enabling packaging, ecommerce and marketing assets to move forward without delay.

Context

House of Marley needed premium imagery for packaging, e-commerce and launch materials, but the product was still in development and no physical samples were available. The team required a reliable way to visualise the headphones early, without compromising quality or brand consistency.

The Challenge

A traditional photoshoot wasn’t possible, and supplier imagery lacked consistency. Waiting for production samples risked missing key retail windows. The challenge was to create believable, premium assets that could stand in for a full studio shoot before the product existed.

Approach

I developed a hybrid workflow combining AI‑generated scene exploration, AI‑assisted texturing and 3D rendering. This allowed me to accurately texture the CAD model, build a controlled lighting and camera setup, and composite the product into repeatable lifestyle environments aligned with the brand. The pipeline was designed to be reusable for future Marley launches.

The Result

  • Refined the product CAD and created accurate PBR materials using an AI‑assisted texture pipeline

  • Rendered hero angles and detail shots in Blender using a consistent lighting rig

  • Generated lifestyle scenes using AI tools, ensuring repeatable lighting, perspective and tone

  • Composited 3D renders into AI‑generated backplates, matching colour, grain and depth for realism

  • Delivered final assets for packaging, ecommerce and marketing, including production‑ready artwork

Outcome

The workflow enabled the team to progress packaging and launch materials without waiting for final product samples, avoiding costly delays and keeping the retail timeline on track. The pipeline now serves as a repeatable approach for future Marley products, reducing dependency on physical samples and expanding creative flexibility.
